“Why should we honor our flag?” Sixth-grade students in the Tustin and Santa Ana unified school districts will provide the answer if they enter the Santa Ana Elks Lodge annual essay contest. Four boys and four girls will be chosen as finalists in the contest. From there, the eight essays will compete for U.S. Savings Bonds. Deadline is Dec. 14. Information: (714) 730-7339.
