A conference, the Status of South County Youth, is scheduled for Dec. 3 at the Shepherd of the Hills Church. Orange County Supervisor Tom Wilson and the South Orange County Community Services Council are hosting the event. The conference is designed to bring together local businesses and faith organizations to develop youth service programs. The conference takes place from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at 30121 Niguel Road.
