The Orange County Children’s Theatre Tuesday pitched its idea to renovate a damaged movie theater at Stanton Plaza in order to build a permanent home for the nonprofit group. The new theater would seat 500 people, the organization told the City Council. The presentation included drawings of the proposed renovation. The group currently performs at various high schools. The site is on Beach Boulevard.
