Barbara Boxer

The assertion by The Times (editorial, Oct. 25) that Sen. Barbara Boxer has pursued a narrow range of issues is preposterous. For example, Boxer has worked tirelessly to boost California’s economy by securing federal funds for the Alameda Corridor project and for building transportation infrastructure for commerce along the border. She authored the After School Education and Safety Act, which allocated $200 million to keep schools open for educational and healthy recreational activities between the hours of 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., the hours when kids are most likely to get in trouble.
Classifying children, education and the economy as a mere “handful” of issues defies common sense.

I am so tired of Boxer’s negative campaign against Matt Fong! We are bombarded with so many negative commercials. The only thing that we know that Boxer is for is abortion. Enough already!
