Getting a Rise Out of ‘Squaw’ Bread

Ms. Hashi-Hanta of Sells, Ariz. (Letters, Aug. 26), was “shocked,” “offended” and “insulted” by the widely used term “squaw” bread.
She might be interested to learn there’s a small chain-bakery firm here in the Los Angeles area selling a wide range of baked goods with the name--also boldly emblazoned on their trucks--of “BIMBO.”
What might she infer from that?
