Organizers of the upcoming South Oxnard Multi-Cultural Crafts Faire are looking for businesses and residents to lease space for the event.
Proceeds from the fair will support local events for city youngsters.
The South Oxnard Challenge Project--a group of law enforcement officials, churches, schools and nonprofit organizations--is coordinating the event.
Funded by a three-year, $4.5-million state grant, the project is designed to steer young people away from crime and educate the community on youth issues.
The fair is planned for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 14. For more information, call Pat Simmons at 271-9734.
