The League of Women Voters of California has expanded its voter information Web site to include 15 California counties, among them Orange, Riverside and Santa Barbara.
At the site, www.smartvoter.org, voters can enter their addresses and ZIP Codes and automatically be shown a personalized ballot, with information about state and local propositions.
“The site also has links to candidates’ pages, which are linked to video interviews of candidates for statewide public office,” said Trudell Een, project director of SmartVoter.
The five-minute video interviews with 60 of the 72 candidates will be released to cable stations statewide Monday. Information is available at (916) 444-9792.
