Loyola Gets Grant Toward Research Lab

Loyola Marymount University received a $150,000 grant toward the construction of a research laboratory, a university spokesman said.
The lab will be named the John Stauffer Charitable Trust Organic Research Laboratory after the donor, said spokesman Norm Schneider.
The facility will be the university’s first permanent lab and will be used for faculty-directed student research in synthetic organic chemistry, he said.
