7 Injured on MD-11 Flight

SHANGHAI — Seven passengers suffered minor injuries when a Chinese MD-11 airliner made an emergency landing here after the pilot discovered problems with the landing gear, an airline spokesman said today.
The passengers aboard the China Eastern Airlines flight were hurt Thursday as they slid down emergency escape chutes after the plane landed.
The flight from Los Angeles to Beijing was carrying 120 passengers and 17 crew members, the spokesman said. All who were injured are Chinese.
