Malibu 27, St. Genevieve 22--Gary Yeagley’s two touchdowns helped the Sharks (1-1) beat the Valiants at Malibu.
Yeagley caught a 21-yard scoring pass from David Koral in the third quarter and later in the quarter intercepted a pass by Mike Pisano and returned it 90 yards for a touchdown.
Koral, who completed 12 of 26 for 130 yards, intercepted Pisano’s first pass of the game and scored on a 21-yard interception return.
The Sharks sacked Pisano eight times for 35 yards.
Mario Melendez had 10 carries for 94 yards and scored on runs of 51, four and 17 yards for St. Genevieve (0-2).
