The Fullerton Museum Center will host a tea and tour Friday for anyone interested in becoming a volunteer docent.
Volunteers assist with Project Discovery, the museum’s educational tour program for young people. Volunteers must be enthusiastic and available on selected Tuesday and Friday mornings. No experience is required. Docents receive free membership.
Volunteers will get a private tour of the museum’s new exhibit, “Coast Road: 1900-1950,” which uses historical photographs and memorabilia to depict the construction, development and pop culture of Pacific Coast Highway.
The museum is at 301 N. Pomona Ave., east of Harbor Boulevard. Reservations required: (714) 738-6545.
