Phoenix Coyote forward Keith Tkachuk, nearly $11 million richer with his new contract, practiced with his teammates Monday and said he was glad to end his 15-day holdout.
Both sides made concessions in the final agreement, which increases Tkachuk’s salary by $1.3 million each of the existing years--to $4.1 million next season and $4.3 million in 1999-2000--and extends the contract one year at $8.3 million for 2000-2001.
