Won three games at the Canyon tournament, including a 4-1 victory over Century in the championship game. In that game, Jessen also hit a three-run home run. Jessen pitched 16 1/3 innings in the three tournament games, giving up 10 hits, one unearned run and striking out 10. Jessen was named most valuable pitcher for the tournament.
