The city has settled another lawsuit resulting from a landslide four years ago and will pay $812,500 to a family who lost their home. In preparing to settle that suit and another one, the council had earlier appropriated $1.55 million; as a result, City Manager Kenneth C. Frank told council members that some projects may be delayed. The city has about 20 more related lawsuits pending, Frank said.
