Tickets are on sale for the black-tie VP2K Party to ring in the new year and the end of the century. The $100-per-person price includes a buffet, complimentary beverages--including beer, wine and champagne--and entertainment, including dancing and a casino. The event runs from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. and will be adjacent to City Hall. The party will accommodate about 450 Villa Park residents, business associates and their friends and is limited to adults. “We’re going to celebrate our existence as a community,” said event organizer and Councilman Robert E. McGowan. Tickets are available at City Hall, 17855 Santiago Blvd.
