** Ziggy Marley & the Melody Makers, “Spirit of Music,” Elektra. It’s not easy being the offspring of a demigod. Trying to live up to Bob Marley’s achievements must be a tough burden for Ziggy Marley, who lacks his dad’s emotional depth and songwriting chops. Here Marley doesn’t stray too far from the world-pop lite he has always proffered. Producer Don Was has stripped away some of the sonic gloss of the past, however, which results in grittier, if no less facile, meditations on positive vibrations.
