The City Council, minus absent Councilman Arthur DeBolt, adopted the city’s 2010 General Plan at its meeting last week. Part of the plan calls for a town square specific plan, which would serve as a focal point for the city. The ideal stretch of the city that has been discussed is along Los Alamitos Boulevard between Farquhar and Cerritos avenues.
