Huebner to Perform on ‘Piano’ Program

Pianist Eric Huebner will give the second of four “Piano Century” programs at the L.A. County Museum of Art on Jan. 9 at 6 p.m. This program, to be broadcast live on KKGO-FM (105.1) on the “Sundays Live” series, will include Debussy’s Etude No. 8, “Pour les agrements,” Salvatore Sciarrone’s Second Sonata (1983) and Karlheinz Stockhausen’s “Klavierstuck X.”
Subsequent programs on the “Piano Century” series, sponsored jointly by the City of Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department and the Juilliard School in New York City, will take place on “Sundays Live” on April 23 and Sept. 10.
