Insurance Hikes

I have just read that some Medicare beneficiaries in San Bernardino, Riverside and Kern counties will be paying $20 more per month for coverage next year because their insurer (Secure Horizons) will not be permitted to cancel a scheduled price increase (Dec. 17). This is considered newsworthy.
Is anyone aware that Orange County residents who must pay for their own major risk medical insurance under Blue Cross will be paying $65 more per month next year, a 20% increase? A survey of price increases among major risk medical insurers statewide should be on your front page.
