A free support group has been formed at Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center for people suffering from a little-known muscle condition called dystonia. The group will meet on the third Saturday of each month from 2 to 4 p.m. in the hospital’s conference room, 9920 Talbert Ave. But the next meeting will be held Jan. 23, said support group coordinator Carmelita Aquines.
Dystonia is a disorder that causes victims to have uncontrollable and sometimes violent spasms without warning. Information: (714) 378-5021.
