City officials say Joel H. Cardenas works hard to maintain the streets of Placentia, which is why he was recently recognized as employee of the quarter by the City Council.
As a member of the City Public Works staff for five years, Cardenas paints the traffic legends, parking stalls and red curbs. He is also part of the city’s graffiti abatement team and volunteers for standby and emergency services.
