A local volunteer group aiming to build a day-care center for adults will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The group of more than 30 volunteers has been working for the past year to build a center where adults can get medical care and social services when their caregivers are at work. Everyone is invited to the informational meeting, which will be held at the Cypress Senior Center, 9031 Grindlay St. Information: (714) 229-2005.
