Group Buys 5.93% Stake in LTC Healthcare

Investor Robert Chapman and his affiliates have purchased a 5.93% stake in LTC Healthcare in Oxnard.
The group holds 160,000 common shares in LTC, according to papers filed with the SEC. Its most recent transactions include the purchase of 159,000 shares at $1.93 to $2.06 each between March 23 and May 13.
LTC makes health care-related equity investments, as well as investments in leveraged health care, real estate properties.
Chapman said in the filing that he met with top officers at LTC on May 17 to discuss general trends in the health care services industry. The discussions emphasized maintaining a safe level of financial leverage and diversifying assets.
