Saturday Will Bring a Chance of Rain

Clouds and fog are expected to blanket Ventura County early today and Saturday, with a chance of rain Saturday night.
“This time of year a lot of systems wash out before they get here,” said meteorologist Bruce Rockwell of the National Weather Service in Oxnard. “This isn’t a major system, but it might be enough for a quarter or half-inch.”
If the rain does arrive, Rockwell said, it would start after 10 p.m. Saturday and end by about 6 a.m. Sunday.
High temperatures throughout the county this weekend are expected to be in the mid-60s and lows should be in the high 40s. Today’s low will be in the mid-40s and the afternoon should be breezy and clear, Rockwell said. Expect clear skies and sunshine Monday and Tuesday.
