Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece, “The Last Supper,” in the Santa Maria delle Grazie church in Milan, Italy, will be closed to the public through May 27, except for Holy Week viewing March 30 to April 4 (8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.; entrance about $7). The fresco is undergoing restoration. . . . The 1999 Michelin guide to restaurants and hotels in France and Monaco last week demoted one chef from three stars to two: Marc Meneau of the Burgundy restaurant L’Esperance. Michel Bras, of the Paquebot de Granit hotel in Laguiole in the southwestern Aveyron region, gained a third star.
