The City Council has decided to join the Orange County Taxi Administration Program. The program currently regulates taxi service in 27 cities by licensing drivers, conducting vehicle inspections and requiring minimum insurance and taxi meter accuracy. To get a permit from the agency, drivers must pass a drug test, a criminal background check and a DMV check. Information: (949) 707-2600.
