The City Council decided to shut the doors to a bar that had become infamous for mayhem since it opened more than a year ago. Zarape’s Bar in the 12600 block of Garden Grove Boulevard has been the location of several serious crimes, including a killing, and officers have been documenting other problems related to fights at the bar. The council recently upheld a Planning Commission decision to revoke the bar’s permit. The bar will close soon.
