Boeing’s mergers with Rockwell and McDonnell Douglas paid dividends at the Los Angeles Marathon earlier this month.
The aerospace giant fielded the top-finishing corporate team for the 26.2-mile race, with three entrants finishing first in their divisions and three others placing second in their divisions.

About 50 Boeing employees ran the marathon, including workers from Long Beach, Huntington Beach, Seal Beach, Downey, Anaheim, Canoga Park, Palmdale and three from the company’s home state of Washington, SooHoo said.
