Council members drew applause from the family of a slain teenager Tuesday night when they vowed to contribute $100 each to a reward fund to help find the person who fatally shot 18-year-old Bernard “B.J.” Garcia Lopez Jr. two years ago. The Lopez family and supporters have raised a $7,460 reward.
