Group of Investors Gain a 5.5% Stake in Apria

An investment group said Friday that it acquired a 5.5% stake in Apria Healthcare Group Inc., the Costa Mesa provider of home health-care services.
The investors, including Cooper Capital LLC, most recently bought shares for $7.34 to $7.95 apiece from March 17 to March 26, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
Cooper and its affiliates now hold 2.8 million Apria shares. Apria shares were unchanged Friday, at $7.63, and are down almost 15% this year.
