Ridgecrest Burroughs 3, Louisville 2--Heidi Thuele hit a two-run triple but the Royals (3-4) went down to defeat.
Alemany 2, Lancaster 1--Sarita Contreras struck out 11 and singled home the tie-breaking run in the Indians’ two-run third inning.
Alemany 4, Palmdale 1--Annette Ramirez, Courtney Carr and Debbie Borra each had two hits for the Indians (4-6).
Palmdale 8, Victor Valley 2--Vanessa Gallegos had three singles in a victory for the Falcons (6-6).
In other games:
Newbury Park 6, Santa Fe 1--Nancy Pabon had three hits and an RBI to help the No. 2 Panthers (7-1) finish third in the Downey tournament at South Gate Park.
La Reina 5, Buena 2--Stephanie Hall had two hits and an RBI, and Monica Thompson added two RBIs as the Regents (6-2) took 11th place in the Simi Valley tournament.
