Pasadena-based global engineering and construction firm Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $17.4 million, or 65 cents per share, compared with $14.4 million, or 55 cents, a year ago. Revenue rose to $768 million from $545 million.
* Los Angeles-based commercial property manager CB Richard Ellis Services Inc. warned 1999 earnings would fall short of analysts’ expectations after reporting its third-quarter profit fell to $4.65 million, or 22 cents a share, from $10.1 million, or 48 cents, a year earlier. Revenue rose 12% to $307 million. The company was expected to earn 37 cents.
* Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc., a Corona-based maker of generic drugs, reported third-quarter net income of $36.7 million, or 38 cents per share, compared with $36.2 million, or 37 cents. Revenue rose 8% to $171.2 million.
