The City Council awarded a $29,962 contract, on a 5-0 vote, to Tank Specialists of California to install an above-ground fuel tank at Fire Station No. 1. The fuel tank will service the daily needs of diesel fire trucks, a battalion chief’s vehicle, all gasoline-powered maintenance and response equipment and the facility’s need for a 24-hour emergency-power generator.
