Thousand Oaks 28, Moorpark 22--The Lancers scored 15 points in a 49-second span early in the fourth quarter and held off a late Moorpark rally at Thousand Oaks.

Running back Clint Wilson of Thousand Oaks (6-3, 4-1), who gained 126 yards in 18 carries, scored on a two-yard run and a two-point conversion to give the Lancers a 21-14 lead with 10:51 left.

Linebacker Nick Ciufo intercepted quarterback Dylan McLaughlin’s pass and returned it 38 yards for a touchdown to cap the outburst.

The Musketeers (3-6, 3-3) recovered an onside kick and drove to Thousand Oaks’ 16-yard line, but McLaughlin was intercepted by Santo Riccobono to end the threat.

McLaughlin completed 23 of 42 passes for 304 yards.
