GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Marcel Cousineau recorded his International Hockey League-leading seventh victory Friday night as the Long Beach Ice Dogs defeated the Grand Rapids Griffins, 2-1.
Len Barrie opened up the scoring for the Ice Dogs in the first period, then assisted on Bobby Dollas’ game-winner in the second.
Michel Picard tied the score for Grand Rapids late in the first, but that was the only one of the Griffins’ 35 shots that got by Cousineau.
