In an Olympic League game:
Whittier Christian 27, Brethren Christian 14--Quarterback Abraham Santos teamed with Nathan Endemano for four touchdowns to lead the Heralds to their second league victory, at Whittier College.
In the first half, Santos completed three touchdown passes to Endemano. The first came on Whittier Christian’s first play of the game and went for 86 yards.
The second, later in the first quarter, went for 67 yards. The third was a 24-yarder in the second quarter.
Whittier Christian (2-7, 2-2) led at the half, 21-7.
At the 8:11 mark of the third quarter, Santos found Endemano again with a 30-yard pass for their fourth touchdown.
Santos completed eight of 14 passes for 256 yards and Endemano had four receptions for 207 yards.
Brethren Christian (3-6, 1-3) scored on a 22-yard run by Leon Green in the first quarter and a 30-yard pass from Kyle Painter to Dave Workman with 5:18 left in the game.
The leading rusher for Whittier Christian was David Jones, who ran for 77 yards in 15 carries.
Leon Green led the Warriors in rushing with 38 yards in seven carries.
Whittier Christian will travel to Cerritos Valley Christian Friday. Brethren Christian takes on Ontario Christian on Friday.
