The Placentia-Yorba Linda school board wants to look into building new schools to keep up with growing enrollment at the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District.
Trustees met Tuesday to discuss the district’s needs for the future, which could include new elementary, middle and high school campuses--all of which would probably have to be paid for through a voter-approved bond.
Trustee Roseann Thorn said students are packed too tightly into schools in the east side of Yorba Linda.
Trustee Jan Wagner said she was concerned about overcrowding in the southwest part of the district.
