Serb Opposition Groups Unite to Oust Milosevic

SZENTENDRE, Hungary — Serbian opposition leaders both royalists and democrats, signed a declaration Sunday to unite their efforts to oust Yugoslav President Slobodon Milosevic.
The document was signed here after three days of talks at one of the broadcast meetings of Serbian opposition leaders since the North Atlantic Treaty Organization ended in June its bombing campaign against the Yugoslavia, of which Serbia is the dominant republic
Alexander Karadjordjevic, the son of Yugoslavia’s last king, under whose auspices the meeting was held, said that the politicians had agreed at the meetings to joint efforts.
“The democratic opposition have to work together,” he told a news conference.”
