Superior Court Judge John C. Woolley on Thursday postponed a scheduled trial date for former City Manager Arthur Simonian’s lawsuit against the city, even though attorneys for both sides were ready to make opening arguments.
Simonian is suing the city in an attempt to be reinstated to his post.
The hearing has been rescheduled to 2 p.m. Tuesday in Department C6 at Santa Ana Superior Court.
