The city will host a Design-a-Plate workshop Oct. 25 for children age 3 and older. Parents can bring photos of the child and let the child decorate around the photos or the entire plate for a family keepsake.
The special custom plastic plates will be mailed back within nine weeks. The class will meet from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in City Hall, 25201 Paseo de Alicia, Laguna Hills. Cost is $14, plus a $14 material fee. Information: (949) 707-2600.
