Agoura 7, St. Monica 6--Ted Gooch scored on an 11-yard run with 11:09 to play to lift the Chargers (2-3-1) at Oak Park High.
The touchdown was set up by a 66-yard hook-and-lateral play that began with quarterback Joel Arias passing to Adam Lee for a five-yard gain. Lee quickly pitched to Justin Richter, who carried 61 yards to the St. Monica 19-yard line.
St. Monica (0-6) took a 6-0 lead on its second play of the second half, when Tommy Irwin scored on a 69-yard run. Geo Martin of Agoura blocked the point-after attempt.
Irwin finished with 182 yards in 34 carries.
Brad Altman of Agoura blocked a 34-yard field-goal attempt midway through the third quarter.
