Two creatures from a galaxy far, far away will be in town this weekend for the annual Kid’s Halloween and Safety Fair in Dana Point.
Darth Maul and Princess Leia will pose for pictures with kids of all ages at the fair, which runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the shopping center at 32575 Golden Lantern.
The “Star Wars” figures are only part of the fun planned by the center’s business owners. Children can walk from store to store and trick-or-treat. One store will give away goldfish and other stores plan games and giveaways. The idea is for everyone to walk away with something.
Kids also can be fingerprinted by police or play in firetrucks.
