* Dun & Bradstreet Corp. said Monday that Volney Taylor had resigned as chairman and chief executive of the business information company, with plans to retire at the end of the year. Dun said Taylor, whose resignation was effective immediately, would be replaced by Clifford Alexander on an interim basis. Taylor held the two positions since 1996, and Alexander has been a member of the board since 1993.

* Fortune is entering the market for Internet business magazines with a new title tentatively called ECompany Unlimited. The new magazine will be based in Silicon Valley and will report on Internet companies and their leaders. It will begin publication in May with an initial circulation of 200,000.
