WHITMIRE, S.C. — Two women held up the K&W; Video Store at gunpoint on Saturday and took $150 but left behind a book bag with a pager inside, police say.
Deputies used telephone records to trace the pager to 19-year-old Ernest Jennings III, said Todd Johnson, a Newberry County sheriff’s investigator.
Police later saw a car at Jennings’ home that matched the getaway car. When the car was later spotted at a motel early Sunday, Jennings was arrested along with 22-year-old Kimberly McGowan. Both now face conspiracy and armed robbery charges.
