Danny Evans, assistant general manager for the Chicago White Sox, will interview with Disney officials Friday for the Angels’ general manager job.
He joins Bob Watson, Bill Stoneman, Omar Minaya and Jim Duquette as candidates for a position that could be filled as early as Friday afternoon.
Evans has interviewed for many general manager openings, most recently in Seattle. He will meet with Disney chairman Michael Eisner and Angel President Tony Tavares in Burbank.
