CALIFORNIA : PEOPLE IN BUSINESS : Investment Bank Names Executive to Head Its Real Estate Practice

* International investment bank Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin has named Jeffrey Hayden a senior vice president. He will be responsible for the Los Angeles-based firm’s real estate investment practice. Hayden recently was managing director and founder of Pantheon, a real estate investment management firm in Santa Monica.
* Frederick Huntsberry has been named chief financial officer of Universal Pictures, a division of Seagram Co.’s Universal Studios subsidiary. He previously served as CFO of Univeral Studios’ Television & Networks Group.
* Imperial Bank has promoted Joseph Jorling to senior vice president and division manager of the Los Angeles-based bank’s merchant services division. He previously worked as a division controller of its TNT Mortgage Services unit.
