The Brea Noon Lions Club is sponsoring a one-night tournament of the “Game Board of Brea” this week to kick off sales of the local Monopoly-style game.

All proceeds from the tournament will go to local charities, said David La Neve, club president.

Competitors in the tournament--held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, 1080 E. Imperial Highway--have been selected, but spectators are welcome.
