7:30 TONIGHT MISSION VIEJO HIGH
Given that three Sea View League teams are in the top 10, this game might be a good indicator of how Aliso Niguel will fare in its move from the Pacific Coast to the Sea View. Iman Nikzad returned the second-half kickoff 90 yards as the Wolverines overcame a 14-7 deficit to take a 24-14 victory last week over Capistrano Valley, a South Coast League team. Mission Viejo, expected to challenge for the South Coast title, showed promise against a more experienced Santa Fe Springs St. Paul team, and might have won had it not been for two turnovers that led to short scoring drives (and 14 points) for the Swordsmen in their 21-18 victory.
