* Northwest Airlines Corp. must face claims of racial harassment brought by workers at the airline’s Detroit cargo facility, an appeals court has decided. In the ruling by the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati, the court reinstated the suit, filed by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, that claims the company looked the other way while black workers were subjected to harassment. Jon Austin, a spokesman for Eagan, Minn.-based Northwest, said, “We are confident we will prevail on the merits of the case.”
