Frank Capra’s long-lost film “The Matinee Idol” will be shown at Chapman University at 7 tonight in Argyros Forum, Room 208. At the free event, Grover Crisp will discuss his restoration work in 1997 after the film was discovered in the vaults of the Cinematheque Francaise in Paris. The university is at 1 University Drive.
